Cyanide has been used as a Chemical Warfare Agent (CWAs), and it could potentially be an agent for a terrorist attack in case for example of mass casualties incidents.2
In addition to causing death and physical injury, the use of CWAs may result in widespread fear, panic, and psychological trauma.3
